Mrs. Caudill's Classroom Connection

Connecting our classroom with our community

Thanks, Laurelville

May27
schools_outWell, the 2010-2011 school year has officially ended.  I hope you all have had a great year.  I know you will be looking forward to returning to Laurelville Elementary in August as 6th graders!
I will continue to keep my blog.   As I begin teaching a different subject and grade level at McDowell, the blog will obviously undergo some changes.  I welcome you to continue to check my blog and feel free to send me a comment.  I would love to hear from you!
Your IXL accounts will be good throughout the summer, so I encourage you to continue to practice your math and get prepared for next year!
I will miss seeing you next year.  Laurelville Elementary is an awesome place to be.  I have so enjoyed my 12 years of teaching here.  The students, parents, and staff have been such a blessing to me.  I will truly miss Laurelville Elementary and the Laurelville community.  Thank you to all for giving me such great memories.
Fondly,
Mrs. Caudill

Your Comment:

Welcome to my blog!  I teach 7th grade Language Arts at McDowell Exchange School in the Logan Elm School district. I previously taught 5th grade at Laurelville Elementary (in the same district)-math for the last three years and language arts prior to that.

My hope is that this blog serves as a sort of newsletter for our class, keeping parents and students informed of class news and assignments for our Language Arts Class.  I also intend for it to be a place where students can share their writing and their thoughts on books that they are reading.

In March 2009, my blog was showcased by Sue Walters on The Edublogger site.  As a result, this blog has had visitors from all around the world.  It has been so exciting to see new dots appear on my clustr map! (see the clustr map below as of 9/24/09)  Thanks again, Sue!

Thanks for checking in. I would love to hear from you, so feel free to leave a comment and please visit again!
