I would like to introduce everyone to our newly created student blogs!  The students have been working hard on creating their blog and giving them a personal touch.  They will be continuing to work on them throughout the year.  Check them out and feel free to leave a comment!

My book is about a seventeen year boy name  Adam who wants to go to the marines but his mom does not want him to go because his dad died in Pearl Harbor and his grandpa was in the marines and lost a arm.But Adam wants to make his dad proud.Sow Adam leaves on a train and writes his mom that hes going to see his grandpa but he lies to her hes really going to get the marine papers so he can go.Then he goes to his grandpas houes and Adam is afraid to ask his grandpa finally he ask and says no because his dad died.Then a couple of days his grandpa says yes you can go to the marines sow his grandpasighned the paper sow he can go.In the morning he leaves for the train with the others that want to go.Sow finally hes at the bas and meets new frineds .

This book is a good book for anybody whos loves dogs. Its about a dog’s adventure into hurricane katrina. First his family leaves him to go to a shelter to be safe from hurricane katrina. As most people would know shelters dont allow dogs or and kind of pet. So this family’s only option was to leave the dog at home and to hope that he will be ok. Once the rain starts coming down the dog trys to find a dry place and is locked outside of the house. Hes never left the yard in his life but he does and he finds him self  lost and dosn’t know where to go.

After awile of trying to find his way to a dry spot his is swolloed up by rushing flood waters. He meets a kind seal that helps him throughout the book but he never stays long. He finds a shed floating on water and he climbs in there for 2 or 3 days. Then he gets out to go look for food. The flood waters still there but theres a baby birds nest acrossed the shed. Then a yellow man on a floating raft shows up and saves him. Only for poor hooper to find hes going to a pound.

A few days later after he gets to the shelter he finds a kind girl telling him that she is going to help him find a family. She comes back a couple of days later to pick him up and they travel all the way to New York City. And he finds him new home. After he settles in he finds the love of his life and a nasty squirrel thats always mean to him. He runs plays ball with his love and then he has to go home.

Then his family has a party at the end of the book for hooper and hes never felt so happy in his life. Hooper has found a family!

 Warning this book is for people that like funny books only!

This is the 3rd book of the series there are 5 of them in the series.

the 6th one is coming out in Nov. 15 2011.

The main character is Greg Heffly and all I can say is, he has worse luck than me!

In the book before, he got in a fight with his friend.

You will find out what happens at the end when you read it i am not telling you.

This book is vary interesting, I strongly recommend this book.

I am reading the book “I Only Said It Didn’t Hurt” I do not know who the author is because I turned in the book before I wrote this post so sorry if you are mad if that I don’t write the author’s name.

This book is about a girl who cuts herself because she can not show her feelings at her house because her dad says to hold her feelings in.  So cuts herself so she can actually feel something.  The girls name is Marsha and her mom is an alcoholic and her dad is mean.

Marsha starts cutting accident when she cuts her finger while cutting a tomato and she realizes that she can actually feel something so that is were it starts.  Now Marsha don’t feel safe unless she is near a knife or a blade.   When Marsha’s dad goes to war she has to take care of her little siblings her mom and her grandma and when her dad comes back her dad has no legs and her dad blames he for him losing his legs.  One night she get’s so mad that she cuts and she loses to much blood and passes out and she is rushed to the hospital.  she rest’s the first day and now she is at Haven Beach a addiction place.

She goes through many different steps to see that what she has d0ne is not good for her and “the controlling me” the “nurturing me”  the ” thinking me” the “modified me” and the “spontaneous me” and goes through those steps and they make mini me’s. They have to take them wherever they go and they have to take care of them and act like the baby was you and you have to care for it like it was you and don’t cut because how could you cut a baby.

Coffehouse Angel

The author of this book is named sauing juliet. My book is about this girl named Katrina her GrandMother works at the coffeehouse, Katrina often goes to the coffeehouse to help out her GrandMother. Katrina has a best friend named Vincent who she calls most times when shes in trouble. Katrina and her GrandMother’s coffeehouse is about to  be out of business. Because of this other girl named Heidi Darling and her dad owns the other coffeehouse store. After Heidi and her dad owned the other coffeehouse more people have been going to their coffeehouse more often now. Sence Katrina’s GrandMother went to the hositpal shes been having to go to the school and waving her hands to get Malcom’s attenion to help her, shes called her other friend Elizabeth. Katrina couldn’t call Vincent because hes been going to Heidi and her dads coffeehouse. Katrina told Malcom and Elizabeth that their going to have to use money from Katrina’s GrandMother and her criedt crad to start paying bills while her GrandMother doesn’t know what their trying to do to get their coffeehouse store back to business. Also try to get Heidi Darling and her dad’s store to shut down or go out of business so Katrina and her GrandMother would still have money to drecorate their store like every other stores do on their street but them.

The book that i’m reading is Impact by James c.Dekker.This book is part of the Orca sounding serie.ThisImpact is about Mark and his little is telling the story about mark .Mark got killed after his night job in a dark parking lot.After that  mark mom and dad got worried and went to see were he was .Then a couple week later they find out who kill this bother .Mark little bother friends were part of killing of mark.This a good book.

The book A Crack in the Sky is a good book so far. It is adventures, and makes you wonder what will happen next. The author of my book is Mark Peter Hughes. The main characters are Eli, Gustavo, and Tabitha. The setting is in the sky. The problem of the book is that the sky is cracking.It is about a boy who wakes up and the digital sky is cracking so he has to get out of there.
