Fun, fun

After a nice, long weekend, fifth grade students in the Logan Elm School District started taking the CoGat and Iowa tests. Laurelville students will be taking these tests during their Language Arts period on Tuesday and Thursday, and during their Math period on Wednesday and Friday.  They will finish up on Monday by taking the Iowa tests for Science and Social studies in those classes.

Since we will only actually have two days of “Math” class, we will be working only on one indicator.  This week we will be working on finding the missing angle measurement of triangles and quadrilaterals. After testing today, fifth grade students enrolled in engrade.  This is an online gradebook that will allow students and parents to check grades at any time from any computer.  This is a great communication tool that is used by all 5th/6th grade teachers at Laurelville.
