Veterans Day is a day that is near and dear to my heart.  It’s a day that we get to honor all veterans for their sacrifice and service to our country.  McDowell Student Council has been collecting donations for the  Military Veterans Resource Center to help provide food for veterans in our community who are in need of food.  Our students have a history of SHOWING UP and supporting this fundraiser in a BIG way!

We set a goal of raising $500 and we have gone above and beyond! During our Veterans Day assembly on Thursday, Nov. 11, McDowell will be presenting a check to show our support and appreciation for our veterans.
