Earth Day at Laurelville

Today the students at Laurelville celebrated Earth Day.  This day is officially celebrated on April 22.  However, our students were in the middle of testing week, so we postponed our activities until this week.   All grade levels participated in activities today to help improve our portion of the Earth here in Laurelville.  Some of the activities that our students performed around our community were:  planting flowers, pulling weeds (hopefully not too many flowers 😉 ) spreading mulch, picking up litter around our school and at our ball diamonds, and spreading wood chips along our nature trail and in our land lab.  Way to go, Laurelville students!  Our community looks much better!
